JS Logistics is located in South St. Louis, about a five-minute ride from the Millennium Hotel.JS consists of three divisions:

JS Express is an on-demand, time critical delivery service that includes over 500 vehicles from small cars to large vans handling 3,000- 3,600 on-call deliveries and 1,000-1,300 scheduled route jobs;

JS Warehousing operates a 200,000-square foot warehouse; and

JS Trucking provides on-demand, time critical delivery of business freight, including hazardous materials.

Office Tour: 11:00 a.m. Access is an 18-year old family-owned company doing a mix of routed and on-demand work. Headquartered in St. Louis, Access has branch offices in Kansas City, Des Moines, Indianapolis, Minneapolis and San Francisco. The facility is headquarters for a staff of 250 couriers and includes approximately 15,000 square feet of warehouse space. It is ten minutes from either the airport or the Millennium Hotel.

Keynote Address: Keeping on Track with the Economy

If the economy has caused your business to take an economic roller coaster ride this past year, then you�ll want to hear this address presented by Richard G. Anderson, a vice president and economist at the Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis.��

Prior to coming to St. Louis in December 1992, Anderson was a research economist in the Division of Monetary Affairs at the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System.He has been a faculty member at the University of Michigan, Michigan State University and Ohio State University, and holds degrees from the University of Minnesota and M.I.T.He has published a dozen articles in professional journals in the areas of monetary economics and econometrics.

A prime objective of any company is to get new customers. Bruce Ross (ExpressAir Delivery Systems; Costa Mesa, CA) is an industry pro with a reputation for sound advice and innovation. In this interactive session, he will discuss how the approach to sales and marketing has changed, why the most common techniques no longer work � and what you must do to make a customer want to use your service.
