Relay Express has promoted Doug Vetter to director of sales.

“Doug has played a key role in the company’s success, so we are excited to promote him to this new and important position” said Relay Express’ CEO Matt Seiter. “His experience and knowledge of the industry will allow him to be a great leader for the sales team.”

In his new position, Vetter will lead the sales team by training and providing continued education to the team, implementing new customer relationship technologies, bringing focus and direction to the sales team meetings, and applying a standard procedure for the sales team to follow when faced with sales rejection.

His new position will also allow him to focus on expanding Relay Express’ participation in the medical industry. His vast experience with customers in the medical field will be a great foundation for creating and building upon relationships with hospitals, labs, medical associations, and involvement in national conferences.

In addition to his new responsibilities, Vetter will continue to focus on selling new business, and maintaining his current customer accounts.
